Great Blog. As a Orlando Foreclosure Defense Attorney I am actively fighting to help people keep their properties. The economic client is difficult but people still have options. As an attorney we would tell people that no matter what state they are in find a great lawyer who will help defend your property as quick as you can. Time is of the essence and there is a lot of paper work and filings. Do not be embarrassed to talk with someone because the foreclosure problem effects all. Rich, poor and in between.

My husband kept secret our house was in foreclosure by hiding mail and forging my signature. He has had some sort of nervous breakdown and now after paying our mortgage for 33yrs we are left with nothing. My home is worth @$400,000 and we owe $33,000 left on the mortgage. Can I do anything?

Hello I need HELP..finding an attorney because chase took my rental property without giving me any paper work I was waiting of a modifacation and now the state is requesting I send in the form to get $875.00 I need HELP PLEASE???? CHASE pulled a 211 on me and I cant get but $875.

In February of 2012, Aequitas reported it’s finding from their Federal Audit of Foreclosures in California; they named ‘Crisis in Compliance.’ Their results reveal that 85% of foreclosures in California are unlawful, and 99% have deficiencies. In fact in 2011, the Federal Treasury issued Cease and Desist Orders (OCC) against Mortgage Electronic Registry System (MERS) and several banks, including Wells Fargo Bank (Wells).

Even so, California Judges continue to ignore these OCCs and obvious Mortgage Fraud. In fact, the only way mortgage fraud could be so rampant, is because Judges are not concerned with evidence, discovery, facts, justice and what is fair or not; but only in protecting banks, insurance companies and the well connected in violation of their oath

Aren’t banks money making machines? Why would a president who claimed “hope and change”, just do what so many administrations have done before, put those who know best how to play games with OUR money and lives, be in charge of supposedly making rules, punishing those who broke laws already on the books, and in our most recent Depression, save our country from falling off the cliff? We have lived in fo almost 30 years, and refinanced several times to take a little out of lots of equity, to improve the house, and pay off credit. We have been fighting for 3 years to get a loan mod., and have Never been upside down, We even filed a complaint with The Dept. of Corporations, supposed to help those of us who were definetly preyed upon by a lender that broke multiple laws, yet has repatedly refused to do as stated on Keep your home California, etc,Yet, no help from this governing body came. I used to be a somewhat proud American. Now I’m more eimberrassed. What’s become of this country, who I naievely believed really did care about our families, that when we fail, the country looses. Recently, reality set in, acknowledging, the freaks that are fat and flush with our money, will just finish taking the rest of their profits and vacation for a while, somewhere else. Because as I’ve been paying closer attention, being a global citizen, they no longer need to be based here. Extended family no longer seems to matter, What was once mostly a good and descent Nation, now reeks. I know it is only a tiny, few ,rotten people, but as any person who has ever had something go bad in the fridge can tell you, it absolutely stinks up the whole place. I know it is not going to probably save our house, and that may be a good thing because the stress has just about destroyed our marriage, almost killed my husband, and added 3 chronic diseases to my body. And although my husband has, by the grace of God, always been employed, we have been without the privelage of health or dental insurance for the past year. During which time, I have had 2 infected teeth, which meant it went systemic and could have killed me. This MUST BE A FIGHT WE DO NOT STOP UNTIL MAJOR CHANGES COME. If we give up too soon, all this hell will be for naught.

Freddi and Fannie and hence their mortgages are owned by the government. Other mortgages are owned privately by banks, and Congress refuses to pass legislation forcing banks to restructure loans.

Tell me why conventional loans that are underwater and is not owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac cannot get and help with the programs that Obama and his team for “making home affordable”. None of these programs help with folks that fall in this category
